Because it is becoming more & more apparent that the world was not started in 4004 BC, (as once suggested by an over-enthuiastic Bishop,) one may begin to speculate that a "linear" approach to the Bible may not necessarily unlock the key to its deeper meanings.
Just to give the viewer one inkling of this, I heartily recommend the following essay: "NOAH'S FLOOD: TRUTH OR FICTION" which goes into a surprising reading by the world renowned Edgar Cayce on this event(s) that may throw some light on the Bible's cryptic summary of things - PERHAPS!
